Rodney Wayne Online Rewards (RWOR) is a membership programme offered by Rodney Wayne Online (RWO, we) to Rodney Wayne Online Rewards Members (Member, you). RWOR is only available on shop.rodneywayne.co.nz and instore at Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online 290 Dominion Road.

RWOR commences on 18 November 2024, from which date members will receive the benefits of the programme.

All online customers of shop.rodneywayne.co.nz will automatically participate in RWOR, you can choose to opt-out of the programme at any time.

All customers of Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online 290 Dominion Road store may apply to participate in RWOR.

By applying for membership of RWOR or by participating in RWOR, you agree that these terms and conditions (Terms), will govern your membership of RWOR. Earning points for any purchase is deemed acceptance by you of these Terms.

Applications for membership of RWOR may be completed in store or online at www.shop.rodneywayne.co.nz. Failure to provide any information designated as ‘mandatory’ will mean you will be ineligible for membership. All information provided by you must be true and correct.

Applications to join RWOR may be made by any individual who is resident in New Zealand. Only one Membership is permitted per individual. Rodney Wayne Online reserves the right to accept or reject any application and shall not be required to provide any reason for such acceptance or rejection.

If you automatically participate in RWOR or if your application to participate in RWOR is accepted, then a membership account (Account) will be established for you to record points earned and discounts received. You agree to keep your Account details up to date at all times by advising any changes to a staff member online or in store at 290 Dominion Road.

Members should identify themselves when purchasing services and/or products from Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online to enable Rodney Wayne Online to provide you with the full benefits of RWOR. To earn points, you must identify yourself as a RWOR member at the time of payment on shop.rodneywayne.co.nz or in person at Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online, before the transaction is completed. To redeem rewards, you must identify yourself as a RWOR member at the time of payment at Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online, before the transaction is completed. Rodney Wayne Online reserves the right to require proof of identification when earning points or redeeming rewards.

Whenever you make an eligible purchase from shop.rodneywayne.co.nz Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online 290 Dominion Road and identify yourself you will collect points based on the amount you pay for the purchase. The current earn rate for points as at the date of these Terms is:

2 points for every $100 spent on retail products.

The earn rate may vary from time to time. You should refer to the website or check with a team member online for an up to date list of eligible purchases and points earned per dollar spent.

Points will be accumulated and stored on your Online Account. For every 10 points accumulated you will receive a $10 discount off a future purchase at shop.rodneywayne.co.nz or Rodney Wayne Shampoo ‘n’ Things Online 290 Dominion Road. Discounts can only be used in full $10 increments. To use your discount(s) you must purchase products in a single transaction for which the purchase price is greater than, or equal to the value of the discount(s) you are using. Where the purchase price in a single transaction is less than the value of the discount(s) you wish to use you will be unable to use your discount. Where the purchase price in a single transaction exceeds the value of the discount on your Account, you must pay the difference.

Points will expire 365 days after the date on which they were added to your Account if you have not redeemed them for a $10 discount. $10 Discounts will expire 365 days from when they are activated.

RWOR points may be deducted from your Account balance where a transaction is cancelled or a refund occurs. If your points have already been used for a discount, points deducted from your Account may mean your Account has a negative balance.

Points do not have any value and cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards. Discounts are not convertible to cash in any circumstances and cannot be exchanged for gift cards. Points cannot be sold, and cannot be transferred to another person unless specifically permitted by Rodney Wayne Online.

These Terms, including (without limitation) how points may be accumulated and used for discounts and on which products and/or product categories, may be amended by Rodney Wayne Online at any time without notice to you. Without limiting the foregoing, Rodney Wayne Online may add or remove products and/or product categories eligible for the collection of points, offer bonus points or alter the level of spend required to accumulate points and/or discounts, whether temporarily or permanently, at its sole discretion.

From time to time Rodney Wayne Online may provide Members with additional offers or promotions in connection with RWOR (‘Promotions’). These Terms shall apply to such Promotions in addition to any specific terms accompanying such Promotions. In the event of any inconsistency, the specific terms of the Promotion shall apply.

RWOR may be terminated at any time without notice to you. In the event RWOR is terminated, Rodney Wayne Online reserves the right to cancel all points accrued by you. However, any discounts that have been credited to your Account prior to the date of termination will continue to be valid for the lesser of the period of 6 weeks after the date they were credited to your Account and any other period notified by Rodney Wayne Online at the time of termination.

Rodney Wayne Online may revoke your membership at any time without notice and for any reason (including but not limited to fraudulent use of the account or behaviour which, in the view of Rodney Wayne Online, is not acceptable).In the event your membership is revoked, all accrued points and discounts will expire from the date of revocation and you will have no further entitlement in respect of RWOR.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Rodney Wayne Online (including its officers, employees, agents and each participating Rodney Wayne salon, Shampoo ‘n’ Things store and their respective officers and employees) excludes and disclaims all liability (including negligence) for loss or damage; whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of RWOR or any membership of RWOR, including but not limited to, where arising out of:

any technical difficulties, network failures, virus or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Rodney Wayne Online’s control);

any loss, theft, unauthorised access or third party interference with or of points, discounts, or the account;

any points or discounts that are not properly recorded against a member’s Account;

participation in, or termination of, RWOR.

Your personal information is collected to enable Rodney Wayne Online to provide you with the benefits of RWOR. If you do not provide the requested personal information you will be ineligible for Membership. All personal information provided by you will be held by Rodney Wayne Online, in accordance with its obligations under the Privacy Act 1993 and Rodney Wayne Online’s Privacy Policy.
